Oren “Sonny” “Big O” Warren, 60, of Decatur, IL passed away, at 10:54 A.M. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Sonny’s life will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Dawson and Wikoff West Wood St. Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com.
The family suggests memorials be made to Humane Society of Decatur and Macon County.
Mr. Warren was born on April 4, 1950 in Decatur, IL, the son of Everett and Theda (Pugsly) Warren. He married Linda Russell on August 15, 1981. He retired from Firestone after 30 years of service and later worked with Express Personal for ILMO Products and also Maroa Ag. He drove a big rig for 15 years. Sonny would do anything for anybody and was a master at securing the tow.
Sonny is survived by his wife Linda; one sister: Jack and Sharon Knight of Decatur, IL.; two brothers: William and wife Pam Warren of Port Charlotte, FL. and Robert Edgar Warren of Decatur, IL.; two nephews: William Anthony Warren II of Decatur, IL and Jason Lee Warren of Springfield, IL.; also surviving is the extended special family of Elmira Sparr of Decatur, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

A TRUE FRIEND in every sense of the word. He stood by you in thick & thin, right or wrong, good or bad. One call & he came when needed. He will be sorely missed for a long time to come. We are so
